In remembrance of the monks' fasting period from Ash Wednesday to Easter, we revived and brewed this traditional Rhineland specialty several years ago.
The beer style is characterized by its malt-forward flavor and fuller body, making it ideal for bridging the fasting period according to the motto "Liquid does not break the fast."
