The Spirit of Cologne
As the oldest distillery in Cologne, we distil our alcohol ourselves. We only use raw materials from Cologne: wheat from Bauer Kleinschmidt in Cologne-Poll and water from our own well in Cologne-Kalk. Thanks to the greatest possible care in the manual distilling process, our spirits impress with their unique softness and subtlety in taste.
Regional. Traditional. Consistent. 100% Cologne!
You can of course purchase our high-quality Sünner Spirits on site or bottle them yourself.
Alcohol has been distilled in the Sünner distillery since 1830. As the oldest still producing distillery in Cologne, the wheat is processed into pure alcohol by farmer Kleinschmidt from Cologne-Poll. The oldest product from Sünner is the barrel-aged Korn No.1. The new Sünner Spirits range also includes four dry gins, including an alcohol-free botanical, the vodka Colonia, the limoncello and the herbal liqueur "Edelkraut".

The Juniper Bubble
The heart of our brandy cellar: the Sünner juniper spirit is carefully distilled in the juniper distillery. We then distill this again to obtain our high-quality gins.
The barrel cellar
Wachholdergeist and Sünner Korn have been stored in large oak barrels in the historic brandy cellar for decades.
